Summer is all but over now, and with the hot days goes the swimming season for the Humboldt Hammerheads. The local swim club held its annual general meeting and awards ceremony on Sept. 7 at the Humboldt Uniplex.

NIENABER: Herman The family is very saddened to announce that Mr. Herman Henry Nienaber, 75 years of Humboldt, passed away at Humboldt District Hospital on Thursday, September 12, 2013.

LANGE: Anna (Hueser) In Loving Memory of Anna "Annie" (Hueser) Lange. She was 90 years old. Passed away Sunday, September 15 th , 2013 at Finlandia Village. Beloved wife of Aloys "Al" Lange predeceased 1986.

MAMER: Ken The death of Mr. Ken Mamer, 82 years of Humboldt and formerly of Lake Lenore, occurred on Sunday, September 8, 2013.

BECKER: George Michael June 30, 1922 - September 6, 2013 The death of Mr. George Michael Becker of Caleb Village, Humboldt, SK, occurred at Humboldt District Hospital, Humboldt, on Friday, September 6, 2013. He was 91 years of age.
