HUMBOLDT — To raise funds for this year’s TeleMiracle, the Humboldt and District Kinettes are selling Little Caesars Pizza Kits. “Pizzas are always a great fundraiser around Humboldt,” said Kelly Soderholm, president of the club.

HUDSON BAY — The Hudson Bay arena has faced some challenges this year due to COVID-19. Council approved the closure date for the winter season during their Jan. 26 council meeting. The last day for the arena will be Feb. 12.

MELFORT — Melfort city council made some final decisions for their $465,000 capital budget during their recent budget meeting. The Jan.

HUMBOLDT — Power was out in parts of Humboldt, Muenster and nearby rural areas after an accident involving a vacuum truck. At 4:21 p.m. on Jan. 29, SaskPower reported that it was working on the issue.

MELFORT — Melfort RCMP are asking for help to identify a man who has been connected to a theft at a business. On Jan. 12, police said the man entered a business on the 1000 block of Melfort’s Main Street. Several items were stolen from the premises.

HUMBOLDT — The Humboldt and District Kinettes are holding a competition to find the best decorated homes for Valentine’s Day in Humboldt.

TISDALE — Tisdale-raised forward Connor Hvidston has signed a Western Hockey League (WHL) standard player agreement with the Swift Current Broncos.

HUMBOLDT — A Humboldt jewelry store was broken into, with a number of jewelry items from display cases stolen. The crime took place at the Sixth Avenue East jewelry store on Jan. 11, said the Humboldt RCMP. They responded at approximately 2:20 a.m.
