MELFORT — A fall in facility revenues are causing some minor financial problems for the City of Melfort.

LEROY — A LeRoy youth is competing in the junior boys’ golf provincial championship. Carter Timmerman is one of 43 players at Swift Current's Elmwood Golf Club playing in the junior championship, which started July 14.

HUMBOLDT — The Humboldt and District Gallery is reopening with a three month showing of Critical Links, an exhibit with works from the local Artists' Block Critique Group. The exhibit contains 31 pieces from nine artists.

NIPAWIN — Nipawin town council once again met for their bi-monthly meeting with some interesting discussion points brought before the group. Josh Martin from the Nipawin RCMP detachment brought his report before council on July 13.
