MELFORT — The Northern Lights Palace Pool will reopen in September, but a firm date has yet to be set. The province announced that indoor aquatic centres can reopen July 6 as part of Phase IV of the Reopen Saskatchewan plan.

MELFORT — Melfort has unveiled its plan to reopen its indoor facilities.

Usually, there would be 30 to 50 rigs drilling in Saskatchewan, with most drilling for oil, but a few drilling for potash or helium. Right now there is only one rig active.

TISDALE — A fundraiser where the Tisdale RCMP sold Northeast Regional Victim Services challenge coins to raise money for the organization sold out in less than 24 hours.

HUMBOLDT — The Humboldt and District Food Bank received a donation of $7,000 worth of food into its larders. Terry’s No Frills donated items like breakfast and snack foods to mark Loblaw’s National Eat Together Day on July 16.

HUMBOLDT — A smaller event will aim to fill the hole left by the postponement of the Conexus Credit Union Humboldt Broncos Memorial Golf Tournament.

RM OF HUMBOLDT — A riding mower, acreage sprayer unit and a motorcycle were among the items stolen from outbuildings in the R.M. of Humboldt near Fulda. Humboldt RCMP said entry was forced into the buildings between June 27 and July 3.
