HUMBOLDT — While there’s a flurry of activity to prepare the Humboldt and District Museum and Gallery for reopening, they won’t be ready to open the first day they are legally able.

MELFORT — Folks in Melfort will start to see wood spirits carved into trees and gnome homes made out of stumps at the Spruce Haven Recreational Area, as local carvers set to work for the city.

HUMBOLDT — The need for injury prevention doesn’t go away, even during a pandemic. Many of Safe Communities Humboldt and Area’s programs have been put on hold, as many of them require large gatherings.

LANIGAN — A major item on the Horizon School Division's wish list has been granted – Lanigan is getting a new combined K-12 school.

MELFORT — Melfort Youth Evolution is starting a new program to address healthy teen relationships, gender inclusion, bullying and all other forms of violence. The new program, KEEP IT 100, will be a year-long program with monthly four hour workshops.

When the hockey season was prematurely ended on March 12 by Hockey Canada, it sent shockwaves through the country.
