TISDALE — While Grade 12 students from Tisdale Middle and Secondary School are disappointed about the 2019-20 school year, their former teachers want them to know they share how they are feeling.

HUMBOLDT — Downtown Humboldt is going to get an upgrade to its look. The Humboldt Downtown Business Improvement District and the City of Humboldt are installing new bike racks, benches, planters, garbage/recycling receptacles and picnic tables.

KAMLOOPS, B.C. — A single Snowbird plane has crashed into a Kamloops home a couple of blocks from the airport. The Royal Canadian Air Force confirmed one member of the Snowbirds team has died and one has sustained serious injuries.

RM OF TORCH RIVER — RM of Torch River residents are being told by the province to be prepared to evacuate due to the fire in the Fort à la Corne forest. “The public is being asked to avoid travel in the area,” said SaskAlert May 17 .

MUENSTER — Multiple businesses along Muenster’s Railway Avenue were broken into. Humboldt RCMP said the crimes took place sometime during the overnight hours of May 12 or the early morning hours of May 13.

HUMBOLDT — A pellet gun was used to shoot out the windows of a vehicle parked on the 100 Block of 11th Street in Humboldt. The address is between First Avenue and Second Avenue in southwest Humboldt. Humboldt RCMP were called on May 14.

LAKE LENORE — Approximately $1,400 in damages were caused to the Lake Lenore Community Hall after it was broken into and vandalized. Humboldt RCMP were dispatched on April 14. The crime took place sometime between March 23 and April 14.

LANIGAN — Lanigan Hospital is one of 12 rural hospitals that is having its emergency room closed as part of the Saskatchewan Health Authority's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
