A four-year tentative agreement has been reached between the provincial government and the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation.

EAST CENTRAL — Don Rempel, the North East School Division’s director of education, accepted a year-long contract extension due to the pandemic. Rempel previously planned for a retirement at the end of the 2020-21 academic year.

HUMBOLDT — An increased demand for its services has the Humboldt Soup Kitchen asking the public for non-perishable food items. The soup kitchen is holding a contactless food drive on Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
