HUMBOLDT — This season has been a bit of a homecoming for Humboldt Broncos forward Max Gudnason. The 18-year-old from Wynyard played two years of bantam AA hockey in Humboldt.

MELFORT—The planned date to begin construction on the Melfort STARS heliport has been pushed back to June due to amounts raised not meeting what was initially expected.

PRINCE ALBERT — Prince Albert’s Victoria Hospital will be getting a $300 million-plus expansion. The province announced the project on March 6.

MELFORT— Two individuals have been charged in connection with break and enters throughout Melfort over the last three weeks. Melissa Shymr, from Melfort, and Taylor Lariviere, from Prince Albert, were arrested following a “physical altercation.

HUMBOLDT — Manitoba-born singer and songwriter Luke McMaster will be performing in Humboldt, bringing soulful Motown music to the town.
