TISDALE — Local RCMP have caught 17 drivers not properly stopping at an intersection frequented heavily by children. The Tisdale RCMP saw 25 traffic violations from Aug. 15 to 30, with 17 of them being given out on Aug.

Humboldt city council adopted changes to their zoning bylaws during their Aug. 27 meeting. Humboldt’s zoning bylaws will now include cannabis retail stores under their discretionary use section.

TISDALE — Copper wire was stolen from a work site in Tisdale. The theft occurred on 100th Avenue between the night of Aug. 16 and morning of the 17th. The wiring was taken from a scrap pile.
