KUNAMAN: Wilfred R. February 3, 1921 – June 5, 2017 The death of Mr. Wilfred “Wilf” R. Kunaman of St. Mary’s Villa, Humboldt, SK, occurred at his residence in the early morning of Monday, June 5, 2017. He was 96 years of age.

Nipawin council, not the public, will decide if fluoride should be added to the town’s drinking water. They defeated a motion at their June 12 meeting to hold a referendum on Sept. 20 asking the public about the issue.

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League held their Annual General Meeting in Nipawin on June 3 and while there was no earth shattering changes to the league they are undergoing some minor ones.
