Last week Becky wrote an editorial talking about how the lack of public feedback at the budget meeting was disappointing and meant you could not complain. Well the same cannot be said about the public hearing for the new waste collection program.

DOBMEIER: Marie April 28, 1928 – April 14, 2017 The peaceful death of Marie Dobmeier, 88 years of St. Mary’s Villa, Humboldt, occurred on Friday, April 14, 2017.

ILNISKY: John February 28, 1931 – April 13, 2017 The passing of John Ilnisky of Watson, SK occurred at Humboldt District Hospital on Thursday, April 13, 2017. He was 86 Years of age. John was born February 28, 1931 in Gronlid to Ukrainian immigrants.

STADNYK: HELEN May 19, 1932 – April 12, 2017 The peaceful death of Mrs. Helen Stadnyk (nee Siermachesky), 84 years of Humboldt occurred on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Humboldt District Hospital.

The future is bright for the Nipawin Hawks and they got a glimpse at their annual spring camp. “We’re very happy with everything,” said Doug Johnson , the Hawks’ head coach and general manager.

Nipawin will be increasing the amount of dollars it collects from its citizens, as a whole, by 2.2 per cent to fund this year’s budget. The amount it will collect from the general levy will be $4.
