May is Speech and Hearing Awareness month and now is the time for all hearing people to think about the challenged faced by deaf people.

The Humboldt Dodgers have had a very successful debut so far in the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League’s Midget AA division. Through their first six games, the Dodgers were undefeated.

Humboldt Collegiate Institute’s (HCI) Tristan Hering definitely made an impression at the Saskatoon Hilltops spring camp. The son of Ryan Hering and Deb Bender-Hering received the MVP award at the junior football team’s camp.

With increased numbers, Humboldt Girls Softball is looking forward to a successful season on the diamonds. As of last week, the organization had 106 players registered. There are 10 teams this season.

With the advent of social media, everything is public: your vacation, your trip to the bar, and any and every accomplishment in your life.

It seems like this might be the year for the NDP, both provincially in Alberta and federally, although that is yet to be determined.
