HUMBOLDT — Humboldt’s Canada 150 mosaic is one part of a nationwide whole. A new book will allow residents to see what that whole looks like. The mosaic in Humboldt, located on the western side of 710 Main St., takes the form of a train car.

EAST CENTRAL — Cumberland College saw off another year of graduates with their own hopes and dreams. Melfort had about 58 graduates, Tisdale had about 30 grads and Nipawin had about 39.

HUMBOLDT — Teaching children literacy is about more than just reading to them. Families should also be singing, talking, writing and playing with their children, said Christine Thompson, a community developer with regional KidsFirst.

HUMBOLDT — Women from Catholic Women’s Leagues all across Saskatchewan gathered in Humboldt to exchange information, renew friendships and talk about making the world a better place.

MELFORT — A new mural at Melfort’s Historic Post Office will incorporate community painted tiles, various pieces by local artists, and old post boxes.
