This week at MHS was the last one before the February break, which began Feb. 18. Students will be returning to school Feb. 28.

Our basketball teams are well into their season and working hard. Last weekend our senior boys hosted the annual Hoopla tournament, but despite their best efforts they did not place in it. Our senior girls' team will be hosting their basketball tournament the weekend we return from the winter break. We invite you to come out and show you support for our teams.

After the break, many exciting events will be happening at Maidstone High School. Many of our SADD students will be attending a Canadian Youth Against Impaired Driving conference in Edmonton. It is a four-day event were students will have the opportunity to witness many inspirational speakers and meet others from all over the country. Also, our travel club will be taking their trip to Europe in the upcoming Easter break. It will be a exciting 10-day tour across Italy and Greece.

We would like to wish our students a fun break and even more fun in the excitement to come after it.
