Birthday celebration lasts all week

Congratulations to Milt McMillan who celebrated his 97th birthday Monday, Thursday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday the grandchildren and great-grandchildren visited. Monday the immediate family enjoyed Chinese food and cards.

Val Morres and Colleen Koski were Lloydminster visitors last week.

Dolly Olson a friend of Dorothy Kissicks from Loon Lake was in to see Dorothy. They attended the hockey game where Dolly's grandson was playing. A good game.

Wayne Inkster of Medicine Hat, Alta. spent the weekend with his mum Eva Inkster. They visited Terry Gregson who was a patient in North Battleford.

A number of the apartment people enjoyed "Country Blend" Christmas Program last Thursday. If you ever get a chance to hear them they are terrific.

Tillie Linkert had an early Christmas present when her daughter Shirley James took her to see the Rita McNeil show in Lloydminster.

Jean Stewart was pleased to get a phone call saying her son Cameron & Betty Stewart won Grand Champion and Supreme with his Charolais Bull at the Regina Exhibition. Congratulations to you.

When driving around town it's nice to see all the Christmas lights. Just reminds us that Christmas isn't too far away. With the snow all melted you wonder if we're going to have a green Christmas this year.

A number of us enjoyed coffee at the suites on Tuesday. We made jars full of chocolate chip oatmeal cookies ready for gifts for friends. Every week there is something different and enjoyable.
