This national initiative highlights art and culture across the country and communities, like the Battlefords, are taking part.

An Art Salon is being held at the City Hall Art Studio (second floor of City Hall) Friday from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. The salon will feature art displays, performances and activities. Local artists from students to emerging and experienced artists, are displaying their work. There is a variety of media and styles for you to enjoy.

The Chapel Gallery will be hosting a reception and collage party from 7 to 11 p.m. October 1. Leah Dorion will speak about the current exhibition, "Country Wives." The collage party will give visitors the chance to create while listening to music provided by Jaya Hoy. These events are your chance to celebrate the world of art and culture and be a part of a national experience.

For more information about Culture Days please contact the Chapel Gallery at 445-1757. The Chapel Gallery is located in the Don Ross Centre at 891 - 99th St. and is open from 1 to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. Support is provided by the Saskatchewan Arts Board and the City of North Battleford.
