Carmen Poetschke, a contemporary dancer, choreographer and mixed media artist from Bowen Island, B.C., is holding two community dance workshops open to the whole community.
The first dance workshop is Dec. 18, and the second Jan. 7. Both sessions run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. They are open to anyone interested, regardless of experience or ability.
The workshops will offer participants "an opportunity to explore the deep connection that exists between movement, interpretation, our natural environment and the healing arts."
