Maymont Hall will continue with the tradition of having a New Year's Eve jam session and potluck lunch. Festivities will start at 8 p.m. and lunch will be served around 11 p.m. Bring cards, games if you choose and listen to the music of whoever shows up. You know Car-Mel Country will be there. Please join us for an evening of fun and entertainment.

Anyone having any news is asked to call me and I'd be happy to put it in our section of the Maymont News. Call Carol at 389-2440. If I'm not home please leave a message.

An enjoyable Saturday was had by all at the Pioneer Club Dec. 17. The event was hosted by Joan and Wilf Rice. Musicians were all over the place and entertained the crowd with country western tunes, Christmas tunes and more. Please, let's do it again.

The Western Development Museum had a day of Christmas music performed by many musical groups including Car-Mel Country and friends dressed in their white shirts, black pants, Christmas ties and red hats. You looked good, guys. Thanks to everyone who came to this event and enjoyed a full day of Christmas music.
