The "greatest band in the universe," made up of Laird Brittin, Neil Georget, Ryan Bater and Jay Bottomly is inviting its fans to "get jacked" for their concert June 9 at Bennigan's.

Jackwagon have been playing shows in the community for over a year now, having played their "first anniversary" show on St. Patrick's Day 2012. The band was created when Brittin taught his then-co-worker Georget how to play chords on the guitar. He and Brittin, while jamming, decided to form a band. They contacted Ryan Bater, who played bass, and the band was formed in Georget's garage. Jay Bottomly later agreed to join on drums.

The show starts at 9 p.m. and is restricted to those 19 and older.
