The Edam junior girls' volleyball team is being coached by Miss Cherelle Cadrain, and so far they have been busy. Thanks to Miss Cadrain for her following report.

The Edam Royals junior girls' volleyball team hosted their home tournament, Sept. 6, with six teams in attendance: Turtleford, Loon Lake, Glaslyn, North Battleford Comp A and B teams as well as Edam. The Edam girls advanced to the quarterfinal to play North Battleford Comp's B team and Edam pulled out victorious in the third set. Edam then met North Battleford Comp A team in the semifinal and came up short. North Battleford Comp A and Turtleford met in the final and North Battleford came out winning the tournament.

The Edam junior girls also travelled to Goodsoil Sept. 13. They had some good team bonding moments but did not advance to playoffs in the tournament. The junior Royals are looking forward to their next tournament Sept. 27.
