Self defence class for women held in Wilkie
Approximately 20 participants joined in the first self defence class for women held in Wilkie May 5. The class was put on and instructed by Bev Barth who runs the Wilkie Karate Club. The class was free of charge and ran from 2-4 p.m.

Plays presented at HHS's drama night
The H Hardcastle Royals Drama Club held their 24th annual drama night April 30. Desserts, contributed by the parents of the drama club members, were served at intermission. This year there were two plays presented.
