Battlefords residents will have several chances to celebrate Canada's birthday this upcoming Sunday, as activities have been planned all day for celebrants of any age.

There is a new way to embrace, promote and feed arts and culture in the Battlefords - a new magazine, Feed the Artist. Feed the Artist was created to showcase local talent and promote the arts and culture community in the Battlefords.

As the school year draws to a close the school community of Maidstone High School paused to acknowledge the accomplishments and challenges of its many groups, committees and teams.

Borden School Graduation ceremonies were held June 8 in the Borden Community Centre, with the banquet provided by Borden Lions Club.
