There will be a Valentine's Day Dance at Maymont Memorial Hall. Please join us Feb. 12. Doors and cash bar open at 8 pm. If you were at our Sadi Hawkins dance, the same DJ will be taking requests and playing favourite tunes.

Borden Museum held a whist drive Jan. 19 in the Borden seniors' room with 23 out to play. Scoring high hand prizes were Jean Hryniuk and John Petrun. With the low hand was Don Brand.

100th birthday honoured at Hillcrestf

A special 100th birthday cake to honour Jessie Kuttai was featured at the Jan. 20 potluck supper at Battleford Hillcrest Centre. Musical entertainment was supplied by Albert Varga and Bob Mallatt and enjoyed by approximately 45 seniors.

Things have been extremely slow in the news department in our area. However, I will report what I have got so far. It will be short and sweet. The Handi-Van Committee held the first bingo of the new year Jan. 14 in the seniors' centre at 7:30 p.m.
