Sharpshooters claim turkey prizes

The Speers and District Recreation Board held their annual turkey shoot Nov. 26 and 27 with 98 turkeys being won by sharpshooters aiming at pie plate targets. They also had a roulette wheel.

Singing praise this season

We always enjoy the carol sing along sponsored by the Lutheran Church, held in Waseca Hall each December. This year's sing along will be held Sunday, Dec. 12 at 1:30 p.m. and will include a few added features.
