Bready School will host Canadian author Deborah Ellis in March.

Bob Gregoire's Annual Sledding Funfest is coming up this weekend, March 5 and 6 at his farm outside Baldwinton. There are no fees to participate. Camp Circle of Friends will benefit from the money raised this weekend.

The Neilburg Seniors held their regular games day Feb. 7 at the Friendship Korner. Top on the A side on the shuffleboard table were Marshall Jeffrey and Leo Christensen. Dorothy Harris and Marrian Graham were the runners up.

The Battleford Hillcrest Seniors' Choir hosted a 19th annual Telemiracle Concert at their centre Feb. 20, raising just over $1,300.

For the first time in many, many weekends the curling rink saw virtually no action. But there was curling action away from the rink.

Don't miss the "Image Transfer" workshop to be held Sunday, March 13 from 1 to 4 p.m., during the Winter Retreat at the Chapel Gallery.

The Community Youth Choir's spring concert, entitled Spring Tuning, will feature guests from Edmonton, the Cantilon Children's Choir. Cantilon is a community based choral program operating since 1999.

H. Hardcastle School in Edam and Glaslyn Central School are two stops on Persephone Theatre's SaskTel Youth Tour in March.

Borden Seniors held their February potluck supper Feb. 23 with 28 out for the meal. The decorated cake was brought by Anna Elliot, and even though there were no members' birthdays for the month everyone enjoyed the cake for dessert.
