On Friday, Nov. 15, Ezit’s Art School of Battleford had their fifth exhibition after the 10-week fall course, with 57 artists participating. It was held at the Lions Club in Battleford.

Submitted From Dec 6-14 award-winning singer-songwriter-pianist Jeffery Straker will be hitting the wintery roads across Saskatchewan taking his “A Very Prairie Christmas” show on its first multi-city tour.

Submissions are being accepted for the 2020 Hazee Award youth art competition. The competition is open to youth between ages 11 and 20 who reside within a 100 km radius of North Battleford.

The cast is all smiles as they polish their characters in Sex Please We’re Sixty by Michael Parker and Susan Parker. Rose Cottage Bed and Breakfast is open for business with a little ‘romance’ on the side.

Men Who Paint

Don’t be confused by whichever name this band is going by, it’s bagpipe rock, and maybe that’s all you need to know.

For the fourth year in a row, the Candlelight Processional will bring the story of Christ’s birth to life. This year’s performances are scheduled for Nov. 23 at 7 p.m., and Nov. 24 at 2 p.m., both at the Dekker Centre.

Submitted Organizers says The Rotary Club of the Battlefords’ annual Oktoberfest, a joint project with the Battlefords Agricultural Society, was a huge success.

An art show and sale is being held in conjunction with the Marigold Market this weekend. The art show is located in the Don Ross Centre craft room and features art by the Battlefords Art Club. Marigold Market is on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m.
