A sunny day for creating art

The Battlefords Art Club met on a bright sunny Tuesday this week. Members worked on a variety of pieces in watercolour, acrylic and fabric. We invite you to be at the Don Ross Centre on a Tuesday morning or from 7 to 9 p.m. in the evening.

Dear Editor As the Dekker Centre enters it's seventh month of operation, I find myself utterly dissapointed at the extemely short list of events that have taken place at the Dekker Centre.

Just over a week until the music begins

The 2013 Battlefords Kiwanis Music Festival opens in just over a week on Monday, March 4 at 9:30 a.m. with choral speech at Bready School. The afternoon of that opening day showcases more choral speech across the river at St. Vital School.

A beautiful, bright, sunny day was enjoyed by Battleford Art Club members at Don Ross Centre Tuesday. Several were doing acrylics, watercolours and zentangle. Ev is doing a beautiful, sheer shower curtain, adorning it with tropical fish.
