13-year-old cruising around in stolen vehicle

North Battleford RCMP responded to about 24 calls for service between Monday, Feb. 2 and Tuesday, Feb. 3.

Members also arrested four persons for alcohol related offences. Other calls included one nuisance 911 call, two traffic investigations, two alarms responded to, one Mental Health Act investigation, one disturbance complaint and one bylaw complaint.

Monday

• A back car window on a vehicle parked on Martin Crescent was smashed out sometime overnight.

• Two-vehicle collision at intersection of 103rd Street and 11th Avenue at 10 a.m. One vehicle sustained significant damage and was towed from scene. No injuries reported and remains under investigation.

• 44-year-old man arrested for failing to comply with conditions of a conditional sentence order, found intoxicated on 107th Street at 1:50 pm.

• 22-year-old man arrested and facing charge of fraudulently obtaining food after complaint of an intoxicated male refusing to pay his bill at a restaurant in the city shortly before 9 p.m. 

• A 13-year-old male offender was arrested on the 1800 block of 101st Street at 10:20 p.m. and found to be in possession and driving around in a stolen vehicle out of Prince Albert. He is facing charges of possession of stolen property and two counts of breach of probation. He will be making his first appearance in North Battleford Court Tuesday.
