The following statement was issued by the Saskatchewan RCMP following the announcement by the province that, on June 29, the Interpersonal Violence Disclosure Protocol (Clare’s Law) Act will come into force in Saskatchewan.

On June 20, 2020, Pelican Narrows RCMP received information that a vehicle will be travelling to Pelican Narrows with a large amount of alcohol for resale within the community.

On June 19, just before 8 p.m., La Ronge RCMP received a report of a missing 14-year-old male. The boy was reported to have been travelling across Bigstone Road on the Lac La Ronge Indian Band and was not seen since 4 p.m. that day.

On June 20, 2020, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Rosthern RCMP, Rosthern EMS, and Duck Lake Fire Department responded to a single vehicle rollover.

Battlefords Union Hospital is included among the 87 health facility maintenance and upgrade projects across Saskatchewan receiving $17.8 million from the province. Funding is going towards front entrance upgrades at Battlefords Union Hospital.
