In the face of federal tax changes, council will be discussing a change to its pay. Elected civic politicians used to be able to receive one-third of their pay tax free in lieu of charging for expenses.

A woman has been killed in a collision on Highway 16. RCMP report that on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at approximately 10:40 a.m. Battlefords RCMP were called to a multiple vehicle collision on Highway 16 one km west of the Battlefords.

An electronic control module worth $4,000 was stolen from a tractor parked in the yard of a farm implement dealer in Humboldt. The theft was reported to the Humboldt RCMP Oct. 23.

Two suspects accused of stealing a Dodge Ram in Unity on Nov. 25 were in Provincial Court Monday in North Battleford. Joshua Blair Turner, 36, of Sherwood Park, Alta.
