This semester at the North Battleford Comprehensive High School, my Entrepreneurship 30 class had the opportunity to learn and create a business with a “hands-on” experience.

TISDALE — The Tisdale Chamber of Commerce is adding something new to the mix for its summer events – a street fair and sidewalk sale. The street fair will be held July 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

North West College held partnership appreciation events in Meadow Lake June 19 and North Battleford June 20. The events welcomed partners of the college to celebrate another successful year.

An early morning fire on 111th Street in North Battleford resulted in a power outage, according to the North Battleford Fire Department Firefighters were dispatched to the blaze at 941 – 111th St. at 2:54 p.m. Tuesday.

TISDALE — The skate park to be built in Tisdale has a new name – and a new location. “We are naming the park after Raelene Franklin,” said Mandy Russell, a member of the Tisdale Kinettes.

North Battleford Fire Department doused a structure fire Sunday on the 1100 block of 102nd Street. According to a fire department news release, the fire crews were dispatched at 4:36 a.m.
