MELFORT — A trustee representing Melfort has resigned – and the school division has decided not to replace him in a byelection. Todd Goudy was one of two Melfort trustees. He resigned because he was elected as the MLA for Melfort.

City Hall is not involved with a door-to-door water testing initiative being marketed in the city.

WILKIE — Perpetrators in a break-in at a restaurant in Wilkie Sunday might be feeling a bit green.

The Dekker Centre for the Performing Arts is in need of a new general manager. The search is on following the departure of Moe McGuinty. It has been confirmed McGuinty has resigned after six years in the general manager’s role.

A 34-year-old man died in a motor vehicle rollover on Ranger Lake Road Saturday, April 21 just before 6 p.m., according to Battlefords RCMP. Police say the name of the man who died is not being released at the request of the family.

Renovations are complete at Innovation Credit Union’s Hafford offices. The Hafford Advice Centre held its grand re-opening March 29.
