Submitted Rivers West District for Sport, Culture & Recreation is disappointed to announce that due to extreme weather and the unpredictability of the weather throughout the course of today, the 2018 Volunteer Recognition Awards Banquet is cancelled.

Former Kindersley MLA and Sask Party cabinet minister Bill Boyd finally received his sentence for two environmental charges which he pled guilty in February. He was fined $35,000 in a sentence handed down Tuesday in Kindersley provincial court.
