Flu immunization rates are down this year, but it looks like peak influenza season has passed. According to information from the Kelsey Trail Health Region, 10,444 people were immunized this season.

A significant amount of narcotics, including codeine, methadone and morphine, was stolen from a Melfort business. Melfort RCMP responded to a break and enter complaint Feb. 25 at around 5 a.m.

Battlefords RCMP seek assistance from the public in locating Shaylene Kay, age 15. The last confirmed sighting of Shaylene was the afternoon of Tuesday, Feb. 2t in downtown North Battleford. She is from Regina.

A Nipawin woman is hoping to jumpstart a support group for caregivers of people with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder. Alvina Melenchenko has two granddaughters with the disorder.

City council has moved forward with updating its cemetery bylaw. The proposed changes were introduced at Planning Committee last Tuesday, and was slated for three readings and passage Monday night at North Battleford city council.
