Different cultures shone in downtown Humboldt Sept. 30 to Oct. 1 for the nationwide Culture Days event.

It took three attempts but the Humboldt Vintage Club finally got to host their vintage tractor and truck pull on Oct. 2. The pull was originally scheduled to take place during the Sunday of Sizzler weekend but was postponed to the due to rain.

The chill did not stop the runners as the annual Have A Heart Walk or Run for the Humboldt and District Hospital Foundation on Oct. 2 was another success, says Executive Director, Lorrie Bunko.

Town of Battleford financial policy was on the table at Monday’s regular town council meeting. Following an audit, it was observed that no formal policy regarding credit card usage by town employees existed.
