Directors of the Battlefords Chamber of Commerce received an update Tuesday about a pilot project being launched in North Battleford to promote safety and develop a community safety plan.

City officials have confirmed they have put up a fence on civic property north of Wearing Road.

The City of North Battleford has granted tax incentives in connection to the new Comfort Inn and Suites development in the southeast of the city. The hotel development was announced recently and will be going up near the Frontier Centre mall.
