MAIDSTONE — A 23-year-old man is dead after a single-vehicle rollover near Birch Lake Monday. A 22-year-old passenger in the vehicle was transported to Royal University in Saskatoon by STARS. Police say the passenger is in stable condition.

A new emergency notification system is soon coming to residents of the city. Council’s Planning Committee has recommended to council they retain Everbridge for a system to alert residents of emergencies.

One victim was removed and transported to Battlefords Union Hospital after a fire at 1761-104th Street in North Battleford. A release from the North Battleford Fire Department says they were dispatched to the site Friday at 9:01 p.m.
