HILLMOND — A single vehicle rollover Saturday evening turned into a search and rescue operation for Maidstone RCMP. Police say Husky Energy employees notified them at about 7:45 p.m.

A man arrested for a string of recent thefts in the city is in custody. Mathieu Smith made his first appearance in provincial court Friday morning in North Battleford. He is remanded in custody until Monday morning for a bail hearing.
