By Melanie Jacob Journal Staff Writer Despite sinkholes forming at Highway 5 and 5th Street, the City is informing the public that there is nothing suspicious or failing in the road.

Humboldt residents in need of clothes, from newborn to size 16, now won't have to travel to Saskatoon for a good selection - that selection is right in their backyard, with the opening of new store Born Fabulous on Aug. 7.

Battlefords Tourism officially unveiled their new smartphone app named Battlefords App Monday afternoon at the Battlefords River Valley Visitor Centre.

Two youths appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court Monday to face charges stemming from a North Battleford RCMP investigation of several commercial and personal property crimes that occurred over several days and nights in early August.

An electrical short resulted in four firefighters responding to a house on Deans Crescent Monday at about 2 p.m.

The North Battleford RCMP had a quiet evening between 6 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 10 and 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11.

It was a busy night for the North Battleford RCMP as they received more than 45 calls for service between 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9 and 6 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 10.

Streets will start being barricaded at 5:30 p.m. for the 127th Northwest Territorial Days Parade tonight. The public is asked to not move barricades, as it is a ticketable offense and to obey all traffic and parking bylaws during this time.

Two-thirds of sanctions for impaired driving
