North Battleford RCMP are at the scene of a collision near the intersection of Highways #16 and #40 in the city.
A large semi truck was involved, with the incident happening right at the railroad tracks on the entrance to Thatcher. The collision happened in the early morning hours.
Police say traffic is restricted on Highway 16 and access to Thatcher Avenue is reduced for the majority of the morning. As of 9 a.m. police were still on the scene directing and rerouting traffic around the intersection.
