BB gun possibly used to break school windows

Battlefords RCMP responded to 35 calls for service in North Battleford and area between 6 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 5 and 6 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6.

Three people were arrested for alcohol related offences. Other matters included two traffic investigations, three minor collisions reported, six alarms responded to, three minor disturbances reported, one child welfare investigation, one Mental Health Act investigation and two nuisance 911 calls.

Thursday

• Report of windows at a school on 23rd Street in the Town of Battleford damaged sometime over the previous evening. Perpetrator(s) believed to have used a BB gun to damage windows. 

• Two vehicles parked over the previous evening on Borden Crescent were entered and a small amount of cash reported stolen.

• A 911 call of a disturbance at a residence on 111th Street at 10:37 a.m. Initial indication of an assault having taken place, though alleged victim is not being co-operative with initial investigation. A 22-year-old man was arrested without incident and is currently facing one count of failing to comply with probation. Further charges are pending as investigation is ongoing.

• Report break and enter and theft at a residence on the 1000 block of 110th Street, occurred sometime in the morning or early afternoon. Some electronics stolen, a suspect has been identified. 

• Vehicle parked on the 1100 block of 101st during the day was struck by an unknown vehicle.

Friday

• 17-year-old youth arrested at a home on 101st Street after a 911 call of a disturbance at 2 a.m. reporting subject was being violent and breaking things. Accused facing pending charges of mischief and failing to comply with probation.
