The Blaine Lake Playschool Co-operative was established by community parents as a non-profit, community-centred playschool program to be a true parent co-operative. The primary purpose of the program is to provide a safe, stimulating learning environment that respects the parent/child bond.

The children are able to learn through play, crafts, songs, story time and field trips. The school is open to potty-trained children aged three and four and provides them with an opportunity to develop social and educational skills with other children their age.

Playschool instructor Twila Pambrun enjoys developing and implementing programs for children. She is highly capable of planning activities that encourage personal and social growth.

Playschool in Blaine Lake is scheduled to begin Sept. 20 and will follow the school calendar year, including days on/off and holidays. Sessions are held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to noon in the basement of the Blaine Lake Gospel Chapel. Parents can either register their children monthly or utilize the drop-in sessions. Children from surrounding communities are also welcome.
