The Battlefords Chamber of Commerce has announced the results of the director elections for a 2018-2019 term on the board of directors. Fifteen candidates allowed their names to stand in the election, which saw ballots mailed to Battlefords Chamber of Commerce member businesses and organizations in good standing. The closing date for ballots to be returned was Dec. 31, 2017. The nominations committee representatives met the first week of January to tabulate and verify the results. Their recommendations will be forwarded for ratification to the current board of directors. The new board members will join in at the Annual General Meeting and commence their duties on the board at Board Meeting 2018-1 in February.

The Battlefords Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all of the candidates who allowed their names stand in the election, and all of the member businesses who exercised their right to vote. One spoiled ballot was submitted this year.
