Today (Friday), the Crime Reduction Strategic Response Team along with Battlefords RCMP are providing an opportunity for people to clear up their warrants.
Anyone who has a warrant, or thinks they might have one, is encouraged to go to North Battleford RCMP between 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Extra staff will be onsite to expedite the process; as well, anyone needing a ride can call 306-446-1720 and the RCMP will be happy to provide one to the detachment on request.
Police are saying this is a timely opportunity as "your warrants, if you have any, could be cleared up before ruining any holiday plans later this month!"
Police also are encouraging anyone with knowledge of whereabouts of any wanted persons to call North Battleford RCMP at 306-446-1720, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), text TIP206 and your message to CRIMES (274637), or submit a tip online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com where you can also view other unsolved crimes.
