Nurse practitioner, Annette Robinson will be starting her practice in North Saskatchewan River Health Holdings clinics later in July.

Administrator Pat Guenther delivered that news during her report on physicians meetings and recruitment at the boards regular meeting June 16.

NSRHH also has a new physician, Dr. Langeni, who will be arriving in August. The organization will have four full-time physicians, one full-time nurse practitioner and continue to have part-time coverage from nurse practitioner Celeste Toews in Edam.

"Please welcome our new practitioners to our communities, we are very excited to have them join our primary care team," the board states in a press release.

Dr. Dandugula and his family departed at the end of June. A farewell was held June 12. The community came out to express their appreciation and wish them all the best in their new endeavours.

There will be a few weeks from the end of June to the end of July when NSRHH will be short staffed. The board asks clients to keep this in mind when needing appointments. For routine appointments patients are asked to try to book a couple of weeks ahead.

The board approved the 2013 audited financial statement as presented by Baert, Cameron, Odishaw, LaCock. The board also approved a clinic policy for the on call physician to enable them to adequately balance workload between clinic and ER/outpatients. The next regular meeting of the board will be held Monday, July 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the RM of Mervin office, Turtleford.
