From 6 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6 to 6 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, Battlefords RCMP responded to over 30 calls for service in the City of North Battleford and area, including:
Friday
- Call of a battery stolen from a truck on a farm site near Cochin some time on Feb. 5.
- Two-vehicle collision at 101st Street and 18th Avenue intersection at 7:57 a.m. Both vehicles towed due to significant damage. No injuries. There were some traffic disruptions while scene was processed. Investigation ongoing.
- Call at 11:54 a.m., electronics reported stolen from a residence on the 1000 block of 110th Street, possible suspect named.
- Two-vehicle collision reported on 21st Avenue at 1:35 p.m. One vehicle had to be towed from scene. No injuries reported.
Saturday
- 33-year-old male arrested and charged with impaired driving, driving while over .08 and disqualified driving after a vehicle stop on 13th Avenue at 4:26 a.m. Since released from custody for a future court date.
Police also responded to two alarms, six disturbance complaints, 10 traffic investigations, three minor collisions, one fraud investigation and one false/nuisance 911 call.
