Directors of North Saskatchewan River Municipal Health Holdings were given details of a tea to welcome a physician's family at a regular meeting March 3.
Dr. Mpomposhe and her family returned from South Africa in February. The Lakeland Community Advisory Network and NSRMHH will be holding a welcome tea for the family sometime in April.
Dr. Tshatshela will be away for holidays from April 7 to 30.
The Riverside, Edam and St. Walburg clinics will be closed for Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21 for Easter holidays.
The administrator reported on workshops that were attended by staff in February. According to a press release, the board is supportive of ongoing education for staff to continue tobest service possible to our communities.
The board also appointed Baert Cameron Odishaw and LaCock as auditor for NSRMHH in 2014.
Prairie North Health Region and NSRMHH are still recruiting for the vacant nurse practitioner position for the clinics. The NSRMHH board expressed thanks to Nurse Practitioner Celeste Toews for continuing to help by providing services at the Edam clinic.
The next regular meeting of the NSRMHH board will be held Monday, April 14 at 7:30 in the RM of Mervin office, Turtleford.
