Parents and community members came together Wednesday evening at the Don Ross Centre in wake of two recent suicides by two North Battleford Comprehensive High School students. Speakers included a number of community leaders, including Mayor Ryan Bater and Mayor Ames Leslie, Living Sky School Division director Brenda Vickers, and grief counsellors.
Community safety coordinator Herb Sutton said the event was closed to media.
The number of attendees nearly filled the Don Ross Centre gymnasium.
