Couple facing numerous charges in string of thefts appear in Saskatoon court

A couple charged in connection to numerous break ins and thefts across Central Saskatchewan had more court appearances. Cody Kemick, 37, had an appearance scheduled on Aug. 20 for plea and election but the matter was adjourned to Aug. 27.

A couple charged in connection to numerous break ins and thefts across Central Saskatchewan had more court appearances.

Cody Kemick, 37, had an appearance scheduled on Aug. 20 for plea and election but the matter was adjourned to Aug. 27. Chantal Dubois, 40, had an appearance scheduled on Aug. 19 for election but the matter was adjourned to Sept. 2.

The RCMP Provincial GIS from Saskatoon arrested the two in May after executing a search warrant at Kemick’s home in Saskatoon. Police seized about $35,000 worth of stolen property including tools, computers, electronic devices, ammunition, cheques, hair salon products, lottery tickets and clothing. Police believe the items were stolen from businesses, homes and vehicles in Lucky Lake, Dinsmore, Rosetown, Kerrobert, Aberdeen, Humboldt, Milden, Conquest and Saskatoon.
