HUMBOLDT — A traffic stop in Humboldt resulted in the Humboldt RCMP seizing crystal meth, two replica firearms, a flip style knife, several pieces of stolen identification and drug paraphernalia.
The stop on Sixth Avenue was conducted on May 30 at approximately 9:30 p.m. Police said it was in relation to an earlier investigation.
A 31 year old Humboldt man was arrested and remanded into custody. He is charged with possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000, two counts of breach of recognizance, a breach of undertaking and driving without a valid licence.
Police said the man also had several warrants out for his arrest from Manitoba, and the vehicle involved was seized for 30 days under the Traffic Safety Act.
